The year the calendar broke

had some fun days with

10.10.2020

but mostly

the days were dreary

we were lost

and weary

many are teary

life is bleary

because -

we think life is

time is

squeezing forty hours of work in

twenty-four hour days

sucking the marrow

by travel with fellows

and

this year just won’t behave

or play along

it eschewed us

humanae

for a microbe

we

lost

big

and

we

lost

bad

and

we want it to be all over

but how do we do it, on time?
