2 takes on Empathy (with a nod to Resilience)
Together with goodfellow Resilence, Empathy is in circulation and in demand these days. From the classroom to the Boardroom, the two are making serious appearances. We need both we say. We wish both were more readily available, and we are throwing up plenty of fodder for why we don’t have more of these two and how to get them.
But really, is it so hard?
In 2020, if there is anything we must make room for, welcome in and bid stay, it has to be Resilence and Empathy — and they are banging on the doors of our soul.
Without their presence and activity, we are all feeling really afraid of facing 2021.
I don’t have time for another webinar and do not wish to zoom another group. So, how shall I learn, develop and live a more resilent and empathetic way?
Actually, we are being set up to embrace these two — if we will.
If we refuse to be so stuck within the narrow confines of our lifestyles and socio-econimic niches, and prod ourselves to see, feel, imagine, and cry?
Take this fact: more than a million lives are now history because of Covid-19.
